Total Uganda has been operating in Uganda since 1955. Its involvement in the country has been growing over the years with 157 active service stations countrywide, offering the full range of petroleum products and services.
In line with our vision, Total Uganda has improved the image of its service stations into a more contemporary and environmentally friendly look. It has embarked on the rollout of the new service stations’ visual which will be completed by 2016. This new image will strengthen our network’s identity with, and blend more unobtrusively into the environment.
In all our operations, safety remains our priority. We are committed to safety for me, for you and for all stakeholders, partners and esteemed customers along our diverse operation channels. In line with this commitment Total Uganda is involved in health and safety projects such as Safe Way right Way, United Against Malaria and more recently, Blood donation drives in association with the Indian Association of Uganda and the Uganda Red Cross among others. In addition, through our peer educators, we also hold HIV/AIDS programmes for our staff, customers and transporters.
Our commitment to improve access to alternative, clean energy sources, we market solar lamps branded "Awango by Total", a line of innovative and reliable solar lighting with phone charging solutions, to improve access to energy. These solar lamps are durable, affordable and come with an 12 month warranty. Our aim is to enable low-income earning communities who are not on the electricity grid, to meet some of their most basic everyday needs.
